EQUIPMENT
AND MATERIALS:
Bottle cap, balloon, disc
PROCEDURE:
Step 1: Glue the bottle cap over the CD hole.
Step 2:  Blow up the balloon. When it is fully inflated twist the end so no air comes out.
Step 3: Stretch the balloon over the end of the bottle cap.
Step 4: Open up the cap and place the CD on the surface.
Step 5: Untwist balloon and let go.
OBSERVATIONS/RESULTS:
The disc was hovering over the table. The disc was moving fast. The balloon was trying to rise up.

CONCLUSION:
The air from the balloon creates a cushion of moving air between the disc and the CD and reduces the friction across the surface.

Speech

We have been learning how to write speeches. My speech was about power.
Here is my speech.
Power By Harlem.

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if we didn’t have power? I have an idea that it would be dark and you wouldn’t be able to cook your food. I think power is important.

Firstly, just imagine having to light a candle every night. Do you know how annoying that would be? I hate when the power goes out and we have to light candles. I really like turning on the lights in my house.

Secondly, if we didn't have power it would be dark and you could get hurt because you wouldn’t be able to see anything especially if you have stairs. If it’s dark you could die or get really get hurt.

Finally, if we didn’t have power we would have to go outside and light a fire to cook your food. I would not like going out every time I want something hot to eat.

I think power is important because it helps make our life easier. We can have light when ever we want and cook our food quickly. That
